Savoury Potato Cakes

Savoury Potato Cakes



Core recipe

Cook and mash 4 large potatoes.
Cook chopped vegetables of your choice, eg broccoli, cauliflower or spring greens.

Mix the two together, adding seasoning and maybe chopped spring onion to the mix.

Shape into cakes and fry gently in a non-stick pan, using your oil allowance or Frylight until cooked through.

Nice with baked beans and bacon medallions.
