Palak Chicken ( Spinach Chicken )

Palak Chicken  ( Spinach Chicken )

Chicken breasts or skinless pieces
500 g Spinach, cleaned & sliced
4 large Onions
2" piece fresh Ginger
1 clove Garlic
500g Tomatoes
1 tbsp Garam masala
1 tbsp Ground cumin seeds  tbsp.
1 tsp Turmeric powder
Chili powder To taste
4 Green chilies,minced (or to taste)
Spray oil
Salt To taste

Grind ginger, garlic and onion to a paste.

Heat pan and spray oil and fry the ground paste to a golden brown colour.

Add tomatoes and cook till the fat separates.

Add spinach and fry 

Add seasonings and chicken. Mix well, then add 1 glass water.

Cover tightly and cook over a low heat until the chicken is tender. 

Serve.
