The Christmas Cookie
Core recipe from the WW boards
8½ points for the whole recipe (Original points)
30g oatmeal (1½pts)
30g skimmed milk powder (1½pts)
30g semolina (1½pts)
1 tablespoon sweetener
5 chopped dates (0r 60g raisins 2½ pts )
The zest of 1 orange
1 teaspoon ground mixed spices
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
65g cranberry sauce (1½pts)
Preheat oven to 180° c. Place a sheet of non-stick baking parchment on a baking sheet.
Stir together all dry ingredients & chopped date. Add the cranberry sauce. Mix all ingredients until it forms a stiff dough
Spoon 2 large mounds onto prepared cookie sheet. Press down a little and form into cookie shapes, roughly 1 inch thick
Bake for 15-20 min, until golden brown on edges
