Oven Dried Tomatoes

Oven Dried Tomatoes


Get any number of tomatoes, any kind.  Cut them in half and put them, cut side up, onto a rack over a baking tray.  Sprinkle them with salt and pepper, thinly sliced garlic, and any herbs you like e.g. oregano, basil, or mixed herbs. Spray with frylight if desied.

Put into the oven at Gas 2, 150ºC for 1½ hours.

            Eat hot or cold, on toast, on their own, in salads,.......you name it.
