Oatie Burgers

Oatie Burgers

Serves 4

5½ pts per serving (2 burgers)

Cook 275g each of sliced, frozen green beans and chopped spinach.  Drain.

Cook a chopped onion and 1 crushed garlic clove in 1 tsp oil until softened.  Mix with the beans and spinach and add 100g grated half fat cheddar, and 1 egg.  Blend in a food porcessor.  Stir in 225g wholemeal breadcrumbs and 175g oat bran.  Leave for 10 mins.

Form into 8 burgers. 


Bake for 15 mins at Gas 7/200ºC/400ºF
