SHAHI CURRY
Large Tomatoes - 3
nos . ( I used a tin of plum tomatoes )
Finely chopped mix boiled Veggies ( french beans, carrots , cauliflower )
Sugar - 1/2 tsp. ( U dont really have to add this one )
Spray Oil
Salt to taste
To be GROUND INTO PASTE
Large Onion - 1
Coriander Seeds - 1 Tbsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tbsp
Khus Khus ( avlbl. in Indian Shop ) 1 tbsp
Aniseed - 2 tsp
Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
Green Chillies - 2 nos
Cardamoms - 3 nos
Cloves - 3 nos
Cinnamon sticks - 1 no.
1. Chop tomatoes , cook till soft and then puree it.
2. Heat saucepan , spray the oil and fry the paste for a few minutes until light
brown
3. Add the tomato puree , veggies , sugar and salt.
5. Serve hot with Naan or Rice or whatever takes your fancy ...
