ORCHARD FRUIT CRUMBLES

Serves 4

Points per recipe 13½

Points per serving 3½

 

Freezing not recommended

 

225g plums, halved & stoned

225g baking apples, peeled, cored & chopped

40g light or dark muscovado sugar

25g polyunsaturated margarine

75g Jordans Original Crunchy cereal with raisins & almonds

 

 

Put the plums, apples and sugar into a pan with 5 tbsp water.  Heat and simmer gently until soft & pulpy, about 10 mins.

 

Preheat oven to Gas 4/180ºC/350ºF.  Spoon the fruit into a baking dish or 4 individual dishes.

 

Melt the marg and stir in the cereal.  Sprinkle evenly over the surface of the fruit.  Bake 10-15 mins, until light golden brown and crunchy.
