Arrabiatta Pasta Sauce

servings |  2

1 rasher smoked bacon
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 tin chopped tomatoes
1 teaspoon dried basil
6 crushed chilli seeds

Fry bacon until just cooked.
Add tomatoes, basil and chilli seeds.
Season with pepper only, if required.
Leave to simmer until sauce thickens (approx 1/2
hour).
Meanwile put pasta on to cook. (Penne pasta is a good one to use).
Pour cooked pasta into sauce and stir.  

Only use 6 crushed chilli seeds the first time you make it otherwise it may be too hot.
