Chinese Steamed Chicken with a Twist

2 tsp sesame oil (2pts)
2 tblsp soy sauce
2 tsp corn flour (1pt)
2 medium chicken breast sliced into strips
1 large carrot sliced into batons
1 leek finely sliced
1 small bunch spring onions sliced long ways
small tin water chestnuts
handful of sugarsnaps
fresh or tinned in water bean sprouts
150g egg noodles
marinade chicken and veggies excluding beansprouts in 1tsp oil and
all the soy sauce for 15mins. Wipe frying pan or wok with 1 tsp of sesame oil.
add marinaded ingredients and heat until soy starts to bubble. Cover and lower
heat to simmer for 15mins. Mix corn flour in small amount of cold water. after
15 min remove pan from heat stir in corn flour, return to heat and simmer for
5min. Meanwhile cook noodles according to packet instruction (usually 3 mins in
boiling water. As soon as noodles are done it's ready to serve.
