Lamb with
Wine (Arni Kapamas me Krasi)

2½ pts for no count
1 kilo of
lamb cut into pieces
1 glass of dry white wine (10fl oz/250ml) 2½pts
2-3 bay leaves
3-4 large potatoes cut from their narrow side into round slices.
Salt the Meat and brown in Frylight
Pour in the wine add the bay leaves, cover and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Pour in sufficient water to cover the meat and simmer for 1.5 hours. Add the Potatoes under the lamb and continue to simmer until the lamb is tender. This is another one that works excellently in the slow cooker
