Tomato Lime Chilli Sauce

Tomato Lime Chilli Sauce

8 fl oz passata
12 fl oz chopped fresh tomatoes with juice
juice of 1 lime
½ a fresh hot chilli seeded and finely chopped
2 oz chopped spring onions/scallions
½ oz chopped parsley
½ tsp cayenne
¼ tsp or more hot pepper sauce
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
sliced lime
Combine all ingredients except the sliced lime and refrigerate for an hour or so before using
Garnish with lime and serve as a sauce with chicken or fish or as a dip for vegetables. Heat through for a zingy pasta sauce too
