175g (6oz)
wholemeal flour
25g (1oz) flour for rolling

Put flour in
a bowl with the salt. Make a well in the
middle and pour in the water.
Mix gently and add in more water as needed to make a smooth dough. Sprinkle a few drops of water on top and cover with a damp tea towel and leave for 30mins.

Knead again
and divide into 9 balls. Using the
reserved flour roll each into a circle about 15cm wide.
Preheat a
frying pan and spray with low fat spray.
Fry each chappati on each side for 1 min. Serve immediately or leave until cool and you
can freeze them.
Note: Make
these up in a big batch to freeze. Also use them instead of tortillas with a
mexican meal.
