Smokey BBQ sauce

Smokey BBQ sauce

Serves 10

Points per recipe: 1½  (all plans)
Full Choice, No Count and Core : 1½ pt per whole recipe

1 onion
1 thick slice of lemon
1 clove of garlic
2 tbsp white wine vinegar
2 tbsp tomato puree
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp English mustard
6 tbsp Tomato ketchup
1/4 pint of beef stock (or veg stock)
pinch of cayenne pepper
salt and pepper to taste

Fry onion and garlic until soft.
Add all ingredients except sauces.
Simmer for 15mins.
Add sauces and season to taste!
Simmer for a further 5-10 mins.

Serve over BBQ'd meats and vegetables.
