Mexican Sizzler

Mexican Sizzler   

Serves 2

Core recipe

225g lean beef steaks cut into thin strips
2 tbsp tomato puree
a few drops of tabasco sauce to your taste
10ml lime juice
1 tbsp chopped fresh mint
packet of mixed salad leaves
100g penne pasta
half a lime cut into wedges

Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the pack.


In a large non-stick pan, dry fry the meat until browned.  Add the remaining ingredients and cook for 1-2 mins. Stir the meat into the pasta and mixed salad and serve with a wedge of lime
