Curried
Lentil Pate
(No Count)
The recipe serves 4
1 point per serving (on full choice)
125g split red lentils
200ml water
1 red onion (I didn't have a red one so used an ordinary one, just as nice!!)
1 garlic clove crushed
2 tsp curry powder
Wash lentils, then cook in the 200ml of water until they are tender. Mash with a fork.
Use a bit of spray oil to dry fry the onion and the garlic for about 1-2 mins until soft. Add the curry powder and fry for another 1-2 mins.
Mix the onion mixture with the mashed lentils and add salt and black pepper.
If you want a very smooth texture, then use a blender.
Chill before serving.
