1 cup Self
Raising Flour
2 cups Rice Krispies
6 tbs (90g) Reduced Fat Margarine (Flora Light)
1/3 cup Sugar
1 Egg White
1/2 cup(50g) Chocolate Chips
2 tbs Desiccated Coconut
2 tbs Skim Milk
1. Preheat oven 180 deg cent
2. In a large mixing bowl cream sugar and margarine.
3. Beat in egg white.
4. Add in coconut, chocolate chips, flour and milk,
mix together.
5. Fold in rice krispies until ingredients are
combined.
6. Drop a dessertspoon of mixture onto baking sheet
that has been coated with cooking spray.
7. Flatten each cookie slightly.
8. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool
on wire rack.
VARIATIONS
For a plain biscuit omit chocolate chips add 1/2 tsp
vanilla essence
or omit chocolate chips, replace with 1/2 cup sultanas
