Chicken Soup Slow cooker
· Cheap boned portions of chicken
· 2 chicken stock cubes
· Smoked Bacon, bacon joint or gammon steak (optional - fat off diced)
· garlic, onions & small chopped veg & potatoes if you want
· lentils (as above - mixture no pre-soak)
· 3 litres of water
Cook on low for 10+ hours (as above I'm not sure what it would be like after 6 hours - fine I'm sure). End of that time, pick out bones with tongs and you have a hearty low fat home made nutritious soup that was dirt cheap to make.
