Prawns in Almond Sauce


Prawns in Almond Sauce
Serves 4

 

Camarones con Almendrados
2 x 15ml Tbsp Oil
1 Small Onion, Finely Chopped
1 Clove Garlic, Crushed
180g Discovery Enchilada Sauce
60g Ground Almonds
385g Peeled Prawns
30 ml Soured Cream
Slices of lime to garnish

  1. Heat the oil in a large pan, add the chopped onion and crushed garlic and cook until softened.
  2. Add Discovery Enchilada Sauce and simmer for two minutes. Stir in the ground almonds and bring to the boil.
  3. Add the prawns and simmer for about 5 minutes. Stir in the soured cream.
  4. Serve with a timbale of rice and garnish with slices of lime.
