Pasta
A recipe for Guy Fawkes' Night
2oz dried pasta shapes
1 small onion
sweetcorn
2tbsp skimmed milk (from allowance)
42g grated reduced fat cheese (b choice)
Worcester or Tabasco sauce, to own taste.
Plenty of gunpowder...or black pepper!!
Boil a pan of water and cook the pasta.
Place onion, sweetcorn and milk into a large pan, bring to the boil and
simmer until the onion softens.
Drain the pasta and add to the onions, stir to combine all the
ingredients.
Place mixture into an ovenproof dish and sprinkle the cheese on top.
Place under the grill until the cheese melts and starts to brown.
The finishing touch of course...plenty of gunpowder!!
If you like it hot, add plenty of worcester or tabasco to really set you
tastebuds alight!! A lovely warming meal to eat round the bonfire!
