Chimichangas

Chimichangas
Serves 4

Chimichangas are parcels of tasty fillings wrapped up in Flour Tortillas and deep fried to give a crispy finish.

 

4 Discovery Flour Tortillas
400g Diced Cooked Chicken
270g Discovery Salsa
100g Grated Cheddar

  1. Place 100g chicken, 25g Salsa and 25g cheese on Tortilla.
  2. Wrap into tortilla to make parcel.
  3. Seal the parcel with flour and water paste or 2 cocktail sticks and deep fry in hot oil at 180deg-190deg C for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Garnish with soured cream and chopped spring onions.
Alternative Fillings:

Chimichangass can be filled with any fillings, e.g. Chilli, Tuna & Sweetcorn, Beans & Mixed Vegetables.
