A plateful of this delicious spicy turkey and rice dish will soon satisfy your hunger!

10 spray low-fat cooking spray
360 g turkey steak, skinless, boneless and cubed
1 medium onion(s), chopped finely
2 clove garlic, crushed
2 stick celery, chopped
1 medium red green or yellow pepper(s), (green) de-seeded and chopped
120 g mushrooms, (button)
4 large tomato(s), chopped
360 g rice, cooked, brown or white, (cooked) long-grain
1 teaspoon thyme
2 teaspoon spices, cajun or paprika
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
1 pinch salt
1 serving pepper

Heat the oil in a frying-pan and sauté the turkey until browned, about 5 minutes. Add the onion and cook until softened, 3-4 minutes more.

Add the garlic, celery, green pepper, mushrooms and tomatoes and continue to cook for 5 more minutes.

Stir in the cooked rice, thyme, Cajun seasoning or paprika and chilli powder. Cook for 3-4 minutes more, stirring constantly, until heated through. Check the seasoning, adding salt and pepper and a little more chilli powder if required. Spoon on to warm plates and serve at once.
