HOISIN
BURGERS WITH SWEET PEPPER RELISH
Serves 4
2 Syns per burger
450g extra lean mince
2 tbsp. hoisin sauce - 2 Syns
1 clove of garlic, crushed
For the sweet pepper relish.
1 small orange or yellow pepper, deseeded and
finely chopped
Quarter of a red onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp. flat leaf parsley, freshly chopped
4 level tbsp. plum sauce - 6 Syns
In a large bowl, mix all the burger
ingredients together and season with salt and black pepper.
Using slightly damp hands, shape the mixture
into four burgers. Cover and chill in the fridge for at least 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl mix all the relish
ingredients together and set aside.
Once chilled, cook the burgers on a pre-heated
grill for 6-8 minutes each side, or until the juices run clear and the burgers
are thoroughly cooked through.
