FIERY BURGERS

 

FIERY BURGERS

Serves 4

Syn Free

450g extra lean minced beef
1 small red onion, finely grated
1cm fresh root ginger, peeled and finely chopped (or use half a teaspoon of ground ginger)
1 or 2 red or green chillies, deseeded (if preferred) and finely chopped
1-2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce

If preferred, you could replace the ginger with 1-2 tbsp. curry powder and the W. Sauce with mango chutney (Synned, of course!)

Place everything in a large bowl and mix together thoroughly. Season with salt.
With damp hands, shape the mixture into 4 evenly sized burgers. Cover and put in the fridge for, at least, 20 minutes.
Spray each burger with a little Frylight and cook under a pre-heated moderate grill for 6-8 minutes on each side or until the juices run clear.

Lovely topped with a HEX mature cheese and served on a HEX wholemeal bread bun with some salad leaves and a side of SW wedges.
