Spray Oil
1 large onion finely chopped
2 cloves garlic crushed
1 tsp minced green chilli(or to taste)
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground corriander
1 can chopped tomatoes
1/4 pint water
1/4 pint half fat/ double cream (Elmlea or whatever)
1lb peeled prawns
1 tbsp corriander leaf
1/2 tsp garam masala
2 tbsp ground almonds
165ml/1 tin reduced fat coconut milk (blue dragon make one)

1- Fry onions in spray oil until golden brown. Then add chilli and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes.
2- Stir in ground spices stirring ALL the time and cook gently for 1 minute.
3- Stir in tomatoes and water. Bring to boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
4- Stir in cream and coconut milk, and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5- Add prawns and cook gently for 2-3 minutes, again, stirring occasionally.
6- Season with salt 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon as necessary and servce with rice( remember to add your points!)

This is even better if you can make it the day before you want to eat it, because all the flavours intensify.

This is so fantastically gorgeous!! In the original recipe I used 3oz creamed coconut and double cream, but you can imagine what the points are like!!

I would check the points carefully, as I have tried repeatedly on the Points Calculator thingy, and it keeps having a breakdown.

Basically, It is only the Cream, Prawns, Ground Almonds and Coconut Milk that carry any points.

If you come up with a fantastically different total, can you let me know, and I will stop cooking it!
