Mushroom and
Bacon Risotto
syn free
Roughly
chopped 2 rashers of back bacon trimmed of fat per person (either HEXB or 2
syns each rasher).
leek finely
sliced
mushrooms
chopped into large pieces
diced garlic
Hot Chicken
bovril stock
Risotto or
Arbora rice
Dried thyme
and chives
Dry fry leeks
bacon and garlic in frying pan adding small amounts of water to stop it
sticking.
Add mushrooms
thyme and chives and continue frying
Add uncooked
rice.
Mix well in
frying pan.
Ladel on one
ladel full of hot stock, stir and let it absorb
Continue
adding one ladel at a time and waiting for it to be abrsorbed.
Once rice is
cooked stop adding stock turn off heat, cover with tea towel and leave for 5-7
minutes for rest of liquid to be absorbed.
