Low Fat Quorn
Lasagne
This is still quite high in sins, but you could use
some of the milk and cheese as healthy a or b and reduce the sins per
serving. However, it's still a lot better than the full fat thing, and if
it's what you fancy...
Serves 3/4
Total Sins: 20 for the whole recipe (Green
day)
1 pack Quorn mince
1 onion, finely chopped
500ml passata
pinch dried herbs
284ml skimmed milk
28g sauce flour (available from Sainsburys)
84g reduced fat Red Leicester cheese, grated
lasagne sheets
In a large pan, saute onion in frylight. When
cooked, add Quorn mince, passata and dried herbs and leave to simmer for 10
minutes.
In another pan, make white sauce using skimmed milk
and sauce flour (you don't need to add any butter/fat) over a low heat whisking
all the time to ensure that no lumps occur. When thickened, add black
pepper and remove from heat.
Assemble lasagne. In large ovenproof dish,
layer Quorn sauce, white sauce and lasagne sheets, finishing with a layer of
white sauce. Top with grated cheese and put into hot oven (about 200*c)
for 20 minutes until bubbling and cheese is crusty and golden brown.
Serve with large mixed salad.
