Lentil and
Bulghur Kedgeree
Serves 1:
2 sins on SW Green Plan
1oz green
lentils 2oz bulghur wheat
1 onion
sliced 1 carrot cut
into matchsticks
Frylight
2 teaspoons of balti paste [2 sins]
Boil lentils in plenty of water for 10 mins. Then
reduce heat and simmer for further 10 mins.
Add bulghur and continue to cook for 15 mins.
Meanwhile, fry onion and carrot in Frylight until
soft.
Add balti paste and cook for 1 min. stirring
Pour in 4 fluid oz of boiling water, stir well and
simmer for 5 mins.
When the lentils and bulghur are cooked, drain well
and mix with the curried vegetables.
