1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp cumin seeds 6 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
4 bay leaves
2 onions
800g lean lamb in cubes
2 garlic cloves
4 cm ginger in fine matchsticks
1 tbsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp turmeric
2 med potatoes in chunks
400g tin chopped tomatoes
Low fat yogurt
Fresh coriander
1. Heat oil in pan add cumin seeds when crackle add bay & cinnamon 30
Seconds.
2. Add onions for 10 mins till soft add lamb turn up heat. Cook for 15 mins
3. stir in garlic, ginger & spices pots and 1tsp salt cook for 2-3 mins
4. add tomatoes 1/2 pint of boiling water reduce heat and simmer for 1-1 1/2 hrs best
5. left for a couple of days for the best flavor serve with a spoon full of yogurt and chopped coriander and 3 points for rice
