Pasta with
Passata & chick peas
10 oz pasta tubes
Fry light
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 celery stick, finely chopped
15 oz can chick-peas, drained
8 fl oz passata
Salt and black pepper
Chopped fresh parsley, to garnish
Fry onion, garlic and celery until softened but not browned. Stir in passata and chick-peas, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Cook the pasta in a large pan of boiling, lightly salted water until tender. Drain the pasta and toss into the sauce, then season to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve hot.
