KETCHUP
CHICKEN
Get hold of some sweet Thai soy sauce from a Chinese supermarket - it's
treacly, so I'm guessing about 1/2 pt per tbs.
Bake some skinless chicken drumsticks in the oven - 180 deg C for 20 to 30 mins should do it, but check they're cooked all the way through.
Meanwhile put 1tbs of tomato ketchup and 1tbs of sweet soy per drumstick in a small pan and boil it, whilst stirring, for 5 min or so. It gets very hot, so be careful.
When the drumsticks are cooked, coat them with sauce and put them back in the oven for another 5 minutes or so.
Serve hot or cold. I reckon they're around 2 points per drumstick, they're good with salad and very messy to eat! The sauce is almost like a savoury toffee and is nice in quorn stir-fries or with noodles instead if you like them.
