Crunchy Flapjacks

Crunchy Flapjacks

Serves 16

Points per serving: 1½ (original points)

118g light sunflower spread
1 tbsp golden syrup
118g Silver Spoon light sugar
59g oats
59g self raising flour
88g crushed cornflakes

Melt the margerine and syrup, but do not overheat

In a bowl mix sugar, oats, flour and cornflakes

Pour the margerine mixture on to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly

Place in a well greased swiss-roll tin and bake in moderately hot oven (375ºF, gas mark 5) for 15-20 minutes until just firm

Cut into 16 fingers whilst still hot, leave to cool in tin
