Breakfast Bars

Basic recipe: 1 HeB or 6 syns if not using as a HeB

20g porridge oats
20g Grape Nuts
1 egg,
1 finely grated carrot
Sweetener

Mix all the ingredients together. Line tin with baking parchment and press ingredients into it.  ( I find double quantity of ingredients fills an 8” (20.5cm) square tin nicely).

Bake at 180 °C/Gas 4  for 15-20 minutes. Leave to cool and cut into bars.

Additions
25g raisins/currants/sultanas   4 syns

The recipe I saw online used Whitworths Shots.  The syns according to SW online are:

Toffee pecan 25g pack                                   5 syns
Fruity Biscuit 25g pack                                    4½ syns
Apricot and seed 25g pack                           4 syns
Tropical coconut 25g pack                             5 syns
Blueberry and seed 25g pack                      5 syns
Raisin and chocolate 25g pack                     4½ syns
Cranberry and Almond 25g pack                                5 syns   
Date and Toasted Almond 25g pack         4½ syns
Berry and White Chocolate 25g pack       4½ syns
Orange and Chocolate seed 25g pack      4½ syns

You could also use:
Ginger in syrup/crystallised, 1 ball            2½ syns
Ginger in syrup/crystallised, 25g                                4 syns
Dried cranberries 25g                                     4 syns
Glace cherries 25g                                           4 syns

Mixed seeds 25g                                              7 syns
