Spicy Sausage Spaghetti

Serves 4

Full Choice 6½ pts per serving (original points)

No Count 2 pts per serving

frylight
1 x 8 pack Bowyers low fat sausages (8pts)
150g button mushrooms, halved if large
2 garlic cloves, sliced
½ tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp sugar or sweetener
1 tsp oregano
680g passata
350g spaghetti

Skin the sausages, cut each into 4 and roll it into a ball.  Heat a pan and spray with frylight.  Cook the sausage balls and remove to a plate.

Add the mushrooms and garlic to the pan and cook for 5 mins.  Add the chilli, sugar and passata, stir and simmer for 10 mins.

Return the sausages, stir and cook for another 10 mins, until the sauce has reduced.  Season to taste.

Cook the spaghetti as directed on the pack, serve the sauce over it.
