Apple Crisp

Apple Crisp

Serves 2

Points plan 1 pt per serving
Core ½ pt per serving

240g cooking apples, peeled, cored & quartered
2 cloves
artificial sweetener to taste
120g very low fat fromage frais
2 tbsp wholemeal breadcrumbs
2 tsp granulated sweetener

Put apples into a covered pan with the cloves and 2 tbsp water.  Simmer until apples have softened and collapsed.  Remove from heat, discard cloves and beat apples until smooth.  Sweeten to taste and leave to cool.  Stir in fromage frais.  Divide between 2 dishes.


Toast the breadcrumbs under a medium grill until crisp and golden.  Mix with the sweetener and sprinkle onto the puree just before serving.
