Apple and Cinnamon Flapjacks
Makes 12
2½pts per piece
100g low fat spread
75g dark muscovado sugar
2 tbsp golden syrup
175g porridge oats
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
75g dried apple pieces, chopped into bite sized pieces
25g raisins
Preheat oven to Gas 5/190ºC/375ºF
Heat low fat spread, sugar and syrup until melted and well
mixed. Mix in the oats, cinnamon, apple and raisins. Spread into an
18cm (7") square, shallow tin. Bake for 15 mins until golden.
Mark into 12 squares and leave to cool in the tin.
Once completely cold, remove from the tin.
