Hot Lentil & Tomato Soup

Core:
Use skimmed milk to make it completely core.

tin chopped tomatoes
half
tube of tom puree

cloves garlic crushed
Splash
Worcestershire sauce
half
teaspoon chilli flakes
150g
Split Red Lentils (7 points)
Half
pint semi skimmed milk (2 points)
1
pint water
2
chicken (or veg) stock cubes
50g
wafer thin smoked ham (1 point) chopped (optional)
1
large onion diced
salt
and freshly milled black pepper to taste
Put
all ingredients into a large sauce pan and bring to the boil. Simmer for
45 mins until lentils and onion are soft. Blend/puree until smooth.
This
soup tastes better if left overnight in the fridge.
