Serves 2
2 pork loin steaks
1 onion
2 sticks celery
l tin tomatoes or
4 oz (100g) fresh tomatoes
2 tsp sugar
Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce
salt and freshly ground black pepper
Dry fry loin steaks and put on a plate to keep warm. Add chopped onion to pan and cook gently until soft. Add chopped celery, sliced tomatoes, sugar and Worcestershire sauce to pan. Mix well. Pour into a fairly shallow ovenproof dish. Place loin steaks on top. Cover and bake at 180ºC (Gas Mark4) for 1 hour.
Serve with vegetables of your choice.
