Chocolate Chickpea Cake

Chocolate Chickpea Cake

Not sure about this one but here it is anyway.

2½ syns per ¼ cake

1 400g tin of Chickpeas drained and rinsed
3 eggs
1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
1oz of cocoa powder
1 tablespoon of golden syrup
3/4 cup of sweetener
1 teaspoon of baking powder

Preheat oven to 190ºC Gas 5
Spray a cake tin with some spray oil
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth.
Pour mixture into cake tin and bake in oven for approx 40 minutes.
Serve topped with quark or fromage frais mixed with some sweetener and vanilla essence and then top with fresh strawberries.
