450 ml stock
½ tsp Dijon mustard
1½ tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
2 cloves garlic
pinch of dried chilli flakes
Cut onions into ½ in slices lenghtways
Place in a lidded pan with rest of ingredients, over a high heat.
Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover pan and simmer for 10 mins stirring occasionally.
Uncover, simmer stirring, until glazed and tender
