Italian pork burgers

Italian pork burgers

estimated Points® per serving | 3
1 x 400g pack 5% fat pork mince
75g fresh white breadcrumbs
3 tbsp red wine
3 cloves chopped garlic
pinch crushed dried chillies
3 tbsp chopped parsley
grated zest 1/2 lemon
15g freshly grated Parmesan
10g porcini mushrooms, soaked and finely chopped (optional)



Simply mix all the ingredients together and season well. Take a tiny bit and fry in oil spray to check the seasoning. When adjusted (if necessary), then shape the burgers into 4 large patties. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 mins. Barbecue or grill for 6-8 mins each side or until done.   





Notes
Great for a barbie, and really low points for such a filling burger. I actually made 6 smaller burgers for 2pts each, as we were having other things as well.

I put the burgers in a ciabatta roll with a big flat grilled garlic mushroom – gorgeous
