Chicken Tikka Makhani

Chicken Tikka Makhani

 

Tin tomatoes
1 tsp tomato puree
1 teaspoon grated root ginger
2 crushed garlic cloves
1/4 tsp hot chilli powder
200ml chicken stock
15g ground almonds
1 tsp caster sugar
225g pack tikka chicken pieces (Tesco do two for £5)
1 tbsp half fat butter
1/2 tsp garam masala
Fresh coriander to serve

Put toms, tom puree, ginger, garlic, chilli and stock in a pan. Simmer briskly for 10 mins.

Stir in chicken, almonds, sugar and heat through for 7 mins.

Stir in butter and garam masala and sprinkle over fresh coriander.

easy peasy!

NB - dont think about missin gout the almonds or butter - this is what makes it rich and yummy.

Serves 2
