STICKY CHICKEN

STICKY CHICKEN

2 syns per serving

 

8 chicken drum sticks with skin removed.

3 tblsp of honey

3 tblsp of dark soy sauce

3 tblsp of balsamic vinegar

 

1.

In a large bowl mix the honey, soy sauce and balsamic vinegar well.

 

 

2.

Score the chicken pieces 2-3 times.

 

 

3.

Add the chicken drum sticks and coat evenly.

 

 

4.

Put into the fridge for at least 30 minutes, the longer the better.

 

 

5.

Preheat oven 190°C. 

 

 

6.

Place drum sticks into an ovenproof dish and cook for about 30 minutes or until chicken has cooked through.

 

 

7.

Serve warm or cold with a crisp salad.  This would also be nice with rice, SW chips or jacket potato.

 

 

The marinade would also work really well with pork
