COOKER SPICY ASIAN BEEF

700g of braising beef
(cut into chunks and all visible fat removed)
1 tablespoon of corn
starch (1.5
syns)
1 teaspoon of sesame
oil (2

1 onion, roughly chopped
4 spring onions, chopped
3 cloves of garlic,
crushed
1 red chilli, finely
chopped
1 green pepper, roughly
chopped
200g of mushrooms, sliced
1 tablespoon of freshly
grated ginger
4-5 tablespoons of dark
soy sauce
60ml light soy sauce
3 tablespoons of rice
vinegar
20 ml of water
1 teaspoon
of sugar (1.5
syns)
Black pepper to season
Some freshly chopped
spring onion to decorate

Place the meat in a zip
lock bag, add the corn starch and give a good shake to evenly coat. |

Add the meat and all
other ingredients to the slow cooker, set to the low (8 hour) cooking
time. |

Serve with some quick
stir fried fresh veggies and rice and top with some chopped spring onions. |
