Beef in black bean sauce

300g lean beef fillet steak cut into bite size pieces
1 onion sliced
2 garlic cloves crushed
2cm fresh root ginger peeled and chopped
1 yellow pepper deseeded and sliced
150g thin green beans cooked & cut in half
1 sachet Amoy black bean sauce (2pts)

Heat wok and spray with frylight. Add beef and stir fry for 5 – 6 mins until browned. Remove with slotted spoon.

To wok add onion, ginger and garlic and stir fry for 4 – 5 mins before adding pepper and green beans. Stir fry for 2 – 3 mins.

Return beef to the wok with black bean sauce and 100ml of water.

Stir fry for another 5 – 6 mins until beef is cooked and sauce has thickened.
